Managers Message- March 2010

Are you ready to be done with the snow? Me too! I think we all are actually.

I do want to give accolades to our maintenance team on the snow removal during our last storm. It is difficult to keep the sidewalks clear when there is that much accumulation. They do such a good job- and we had so many of you compliment them. It is nice to hear when you do a good job. So…Good job guys.

On the same subject, we did have a lot of damage from the snow- Gutters down, soffit damage. We will be completing repairs on these items as soon as weather permits. If you notice any damage around your general apartment area- please let the office know. Although we have done a general property inspection, two pairs of eyes never hurts!

Also, thank you, in advance, for your patience while we repair the damage.

Kathleen Lorring’s Art Show was a smashing success. The people who came into the office really enjoyed looking at her paintings – and she even sold a few pieces! That’s what it’s all about! Wonderful Show Kathleen!

Spring is right around the corner and we can’t wait!

Happy St Patty’s Day Folks– eat a bunch of green stuff for us;)

Manager's Message- Storm Doors

Spring is right around the corner!

With Spring comes Spring time maintenance. A huge item on our list are storm doors. Storm doors are an amenity to all the townhomes. They are delivered to new residents in good repair and we would like to see them stay that way.

Please take care of the storm door to your apartment. Report any non functioning latches immediately to the Fox Hunt office. Wind is a big factor with these doors– if the latches are not engaged, and wind catches them—they will break.. The cost for a storm door replacement is $250.00.

If a door is damaged while in the residents care– the cost will be passed to the resident. Specifically, if the damage would have been preventable, had the resident taken necessary preventative actions. As you can see, they cost is steep– so please take care to make sure you latch your door properly and report any issues BEFORE the door is unsalvageable.

Thank you in advance for taking care of your home!
